categories of special occasion speeches
5. Identify the guidelines to
follow when giving each type of special occasion speech: the speech of
introduction, the speech of presentation, the speech of tribute, and the speech
to entertain

product a speech for your work (if you’re not working, select a charity that
you might do an informational speech for).
Make a list of 10 items that you need to keep in mind when preparing a
videotaped speech. Then, list 5 to
8 ways that you can improve on your previous speeches that you have turned in
for this class.

no requirement to prepare a speech. All
papers must be properly formatted, double-spaced, etc.
You must cite your sources and include a “Works Cited Page.”
There must be at least 3 outside sources (don’t forget to reference
what you are critiquing on your works cited page).
If you have any questions on how
to prepare the reference page and include parenthetical citations, please e-mail
your instructor at least 72 hours prior to the due date for feedback.
